Orlando, FL - Five Hurt in Four-Car Crash on Colonial Drive

Orlando, FL (July 3, 2020) - Four cars were involved in a crash that took place in Orlando on Friday, July 3rd. The crash happened just before 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of Colonial Drive and Hiawassee Road.

The Orange County Fire Rescue responded to the crash scene along with the Florida Highway Patrol. Rescue workers transported four victims to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. One person was taken to Advent Health with minor injuries. The crash appears to have been caused when one of the cars involved ran a red light. No further information has been released at this time.

FHP is investigating the crash. 

Approximately 400,000 accidents will be reported across Florida this year. Of these accidents, over half of them will involve injury to one or more parties involved in the crash.
