Brevard County, FL (July 1, 2020) - A 46-year-old man was killed in a crash that occurred on I-95 in Brevard County. The crash happened on Tuesday, June 30th around 4:00 p.m.
According to a report, a tractor-trailer was traveling northbound near mile marker 223 when the tire tread separated, causing the truck driver to lose control of his vehicle. The truck then veered off the roadway and crashed into a treeline before overturning. The truck driver was partially thrown from the truck and died at the crash scene. The driver's identity has not been released at this time.
An investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
