Key Largo, FL (January 17, 2021) - Two people were killed following a motorcycle accident in Key Largo on Saturday night. The crash took place on U.S. Highway 1 near mile marker 96 in Key Largo.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office responded to the accident scene. According to a report, a motorcycle and an SUV were involved in the accident around 7:00 p.m. There is no information on the events leading up to the crash, however, both vehicles became engulfed in flames following the collision. The accident caused traffic to be backed up for hours near the scene. The names of the injured victims have not been released at this time. Motorists were urged to find alternate routes of travel as the road was backed up for hours in both directions.
